How do I get started?
Choose Open account and continue with Whop. You’ll sign in or create a Whop account, then complete the setup and verification required for the services you want to use.
Do I need a Whop account?
Yes. Ouroboros is a financial interface powered by Whop. Your Whop account connects you to the account services available through the platform.
I’ve already verified my personal account. Am I ready?
Personal verification is one part of setup. Business details, additional verification or a separate card application may still be required. Your account will show the next steps that apply to you.
Can I manage crypto here?
Yes. The platform brings cash and supported digital assets together, including Coinbase Wrapped Bitcoin (cbBTC) and Tether Gold (XAUT). You can view holdings and price history, and use supported crypto deposit and conversion options. Availability depends on your account and verification.
Which crypto assets and networks can I use?
Supported deposit options include USDC and USDT on eligible networks such as Ethereum, Solana, Base, BNB Smart Chain, Polygon and Arbitrum. BTC, ETH and SOL deposits are also available on supported networks. Availability varies by account; always use the asset, network and address shown in your current deposit instructions. Deposit support is different from holding or trading an asset: Whop’s current Bitcoin deposit flow converts BTC to USDT on Plasma, while the in-app Bitcoin and gold conversions use cbBTC and XAUT.
Is Ouroboros a bank?
Ouroboros is a financial interface, not a chartered bank. Services are provided through Whop and its partners under their applicable terms. Do not assume balances are insured bank deposits; review the terms for the specific service you use.
What fees and services are available?
Fees depend on the service, payment method, currency and account. Review the applicable fees before confirming a payment or payout. Card access and other services depend on eligibility, verification and availability.
